Introduction to Light Tackle

On your light tackle adventure you will be utilizing our 14" double hull skiff which can be a very productive way to fish the beautiful waters of Hawaii. This also gives you a variety of options to the type of fishing you would like to do, whether it be shoreline spinning, casting lures from the boat, troll or even botom fish and depending on weather conditions you can even wade the flats and fish for the infamous Hawaiian Bonefish!

Capt.Mahalo Bob has over 30 plus years experience fishing the many different styles and have expert knowledge of the different conditions and terrain that you may encounter giving you the best opportunity to having a shot at a variety of fishes! They include the Blue fin Trevelly, GT (Giant Trevelly), lady fish, Moana, Weke, Barracuda, Pacific Threadfin (moi), Trumpet Fish (cornet Fish) and the hook cutting Puffer fish (Blow-Fish) and a variety of reef fishes. Everyone from veterans to novices are welcomed, All tackle, bait and Lures are provided if necessary, However you may bring your own equipment if you prefer.

Blue fin Trevelly, GT (Giant Trevelly), lady fish, Moana, Weke, Barracuda, Pacific Threadfin (moi), Trumpet Fish (cornet Fish) ,Puffer fish (Blow-Fish), and the Hawaiian Bonefish.
