Captain Bob "Mahalo Bob" Tang has been an avid fisherman since the age of 2 when his father, who was an Ex-Marine taught him how to tie his first hook, he was shown only once by his father and was told that if they lost a fish due to his inability to tie a hook correctly, that he would have to suffer the consequences which meant a good'ol fashion you know what!.......... Needless to say, he hasn't lossed a fish yet due to an incorrectly secured hook.

Due to his fathers "Iron Fist" teachings, it has made Mahalo Bob the fisherman he is today. Mahalo Bob has done every type of fishing from diving, spearing, inshore, offshore and fly fishing while one by one mastering its technique, science, thoughts, theories , habitats, and traditions before moving on to the next . With this type of knowledge & expertise along with his enormous network of fisherman/women, fishing industry & organizations he's always informed of the latest information in the fishing world. He's a strong advocate for catch & release and a member of the different tagging projects which includes the bone fish.

Mahalo Bob also is a Jeweler by trade designing & manufacturing a variety of Quality Jewelry. His works has sold around the world and known for his quality and innovativeness. He's now made the transition of his work into his passion, fishing.

Mahalo Bob has created a line of fishing lures for the fishing world called Kelela Lures which are big game trolling lures and Nalu Baits for the bass community along with his Mahalo Bob Signature Series lures. He's now designing a special line of lures for the fly fishing community which are teasers for big game fishing. His attention to quality, design & craftsmanship in jewelry making has transferred over into his lures and is already being used across the globe.

My guides and sea-going vessels are fully insured during any operations in the Hawaiian islands and We all are licensed USCG Captains. (25 Ton Master's License) and carry current TWIC cards through Homeland Security.

Coach Duff's Bio

Coach is a lifetime Steel head bum and someone I proudly call one my "BFF", Bestest Friend for Life! If there is a ditch or river with steelhead swimming up it, He's probably fished it. His love for fly fishing is unparalleled, whether he's standing in waist deep water in the middle of winter on a favorite steelhead river holding his spey rod swinging a fly or sitting in a float tube waiting for a Rainbow to inhale the scud. He loves watching a wild Hawaiian Bonefish stop his newly tied fly and takes off in the other direction like a bolt of lightning!

Coach Duff graduated from college with a degree in Sports Science and has served our country well in the elite 2nd Force Recon Company in the USMC and fought for our freedom. He's coached the great game of football from Little League to High School to Junior College and all the way to a Sugar Bowl.

These Hawaiian Bonefish has captivated his soul much like the magnificent steelhead has. Coach Duffs passion and strong will has always shined through especially when he's on the hunt for that elusive double digit bonefish or knowing where to find a possible IGFA record bonefish.

Coach Duff is the only FFF Certified Casting Instructor in Hawaii so if you need to brush up on your casting, The Coach is the man to get. After all, if he can assist in coaching the University of Hawaii football team to a 12-0 victory, I think he can coach you on the game of fly casting.
